  • For the first wash, we recommend pre-soaking the garment in cold water with a small amount of liquid detergent. After this soaking phase, run a wash cycle at a low temperature using minimal liquid detergent, followed by a cold water rinse. If your washing machine does not have a pre-wash or soak function, a manual hand-soap is suggested for the initial wash.

For subsequent washes, machine wash the garment in warm (not hot) water and follow with a full, cool rinse. Always select a gentle wash and spin cycle. Be sure to separate bright colors from whites and wash only natural fabrics together, as synthetic materials mixed in can lead to pilling on natural fibers.

As with the first wash, gently unfold or shake open the garment before loading it into the machine, and avoid overpacking the washer drum. Garments with delicate embroidery can be turned inside out for washing or even better we recommend using a bag to protect the embroidery from the tumbler.

Specific stains can be pre-treated before washing (see stain removal tips below). Fabric softeners are not recommended, as they create a coating on the fabric.

    Choose gentle cycles with thorough.

    Recommended washing temperatures:

    Colors: 30/40ºC (85/105ºF)

Dry cleaning is not recommended for natural cotton and linen garments.

  • The ideal way to dry your fine garments is by air, either on a line or draped over a drying rack, railing, or rod.

If air drying indoors or outdoors is not practical, shake out the damp garment after washing and place it loosely in the dryer. Use a gentle tumble setting at the lowest temperature.

  • We recommend you iron the embroidery on low heat and inside-out.
